Here are a  few things that are going on in Atlanta for Valentine’s Day.  As Valentine’s will be on a Sunday, I am thinking that most people will celebrate throughout the weekend.

Valentine’s Dinner on a Budget:

Shaun’s  Restaurant
For $12 per person enjoy salad, Italian-American pasta favorites and gelato every Sunday from 5-9pm, in addition to our a la carte menu of Shaun’s signature favorites.

Valentine’s Day at The High Museum of Arts

Treat your Valentine to a romantic evening of art, live music, salsa dance lessons, and other special treats. Champagne and desserts will be available for purchase. February 13, 2010, 6-10 p.m. $25 per person, $40 per couple. Free for members.

For Something Different

“Motions of the Oceans Valentine’s Day Dinner & Lecture” will be held at the GA Aquarium.  Guests will be treated to an entertaining discussion about the secret mating rituals of animals. Following the dinner and lecture, guests are invited to stay for an adult sleepover, spending the night in one of Georgia Aquarium’s  galleries.

Lecture and Dinner: Member – $80; Non-Member – $90
Lecture, Dinner and Sleepover: Member – $135; Non-Member – $160
