I love a good praise song and when I am listening to “Everytime I Think” by Gavin Davis, I just want to say “Thank You, Lord”. The song reminds us of things that God has done and when you start to think about those things, you can’t help but to be thankful. It’s a nice mid-tempo song, that makes you feel good to know a God that forgives, saves and satisfies us with long life.

A few weeks ago, I was inspired by EJ over at Gospel Pundit to go back and listen to some of the older tunes in my music library. I am one of those people who downloads lots of music and then I forget that I have it.
One of the tracks that I overlooked was “Jesus” by Freddy Washington. I am not sure why I dismissed it originally, but now I love it. The song is very dramatic, with contemporary and gospel flavors. It is an amazing song that talks about who Jesus is.
Mostly, I listen to music, but recently, I started a free trial with Audible so that I could listen to audio books on my iPhone. One of the reasons that I decided to try them out was because I could get The Help for free. It helped that I thought about buying it anyway. This was my first time trying an audio book and I have to say that I like it. Being able to hear the audio characters really makes the story come to life. I just wish that the special offer would have come some time ago as I don’t want to see the movie until I finish the audio book.
